First of all; Who are we and why do we exist?

addmustard is an award-winning brand, marketing, and technology agency for entrepreneurs.

We add the strategic and creative firepower of an advertising agency, to the precision and incision of a digital marketing agency, to the flexibility of an in-house team.

A team of 35 brilliant marketing, data, brand, and tech experts – a core team based in Brighton and Soho, supported by a wider network of specialists from around the world.

And we are world-class at creating value in our clients’ businesses and brands.

And who exactly are we looking for?

Our brand and culture is bold, precise, energetic and irreverent. You’ll need to be all four, too. And because our clients are entrepreneurial, you need to have—or be hungry to develop—an instinctive understanding of the unique challenges and speed of working with fast-growing businesses and the people behind them.

As for your talents, we’re after a rare beast: someone with razor-sharp analytical thinking, a flair for performance strategy, a creative spark when it comes to ad copy and messaging, and the discipline to manage campaigns precisely and forensically, like a pro. You’re ambitious (for us and our clients), obsessed with results, and thrive when you’ve got ownership. You bring initiative by the bucketload and you’re allergic to mediocrity.

What will you be responsible for?

We need you to:

  • Own performance. Dive into client accounts and performance, beyond campaigns and competitor landscapes to uncover meaningful opportunities that drive measurable results across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and emerging digital media platforms.
  • Get under the skin of the brand. Understand each client’s brand positioning, unique selling points, messages, trust signals, voice, tone, goals and customer mindset to create paid media strategies that not only perform—but convert the right audiences.
  • Plan and execute with precision. Craft creative, data-informed media plans and campaign structures that scale. Then optimise relentlessly, testing everything from copy to audiences to creative formats.
  • Think commercially. You’re not just managing ads. You’re driving ROI, reducing CPA and unlocking sustainable growth. You see performance media as a growth lever, not a spend line.
  • Communicate brilliantly. Whether you’re building a deck, writing ad copy, presenting strategy or explaining results, you know how to make performance storytelling compelling, concise, and client-ready.
  • Collaborate across the business. Work hand-in-hand with our strategists, designers, developers and content team to create campaigns that are joined-up, distinctive and impactful.
  • Push boundaries. Challenge norms, test new platforms, innovate with new optimisation tools,  push the boundaries of ad formats. Be the person in the room who says “What if we tried…” and backs it up with solid thinking. And delivery.

You’ll deliver smart, scalable campaigns that cut through the noise, get clicks that convert, and drive real, tangible value for our clients.

You will develop into a trusted advisor for the clients you work with.  You’ll want to live and breathe our clients’ businesses, their brands and the attitude of the entrepreneurs behind them. You’ll love working hard to drive growth and value in their businesses.

You’ll have an inquisitive mind, a curious nature and a desire to ask questions. You will enjoy the challenge of learning about a diverse range of client businesses and markets.

What might that look like day-to-day?

  • Energetically and creatively researching and planning new campaigns, platforms and audiences – diving deep into data, competitors, targeting options and creative approaches to uncover what will make a campaign fly.
  • Translating client goals into smart, focused media briefs that are insight-led, actionable and relentlessly performance-driven.
  • Crafting performance stories that cut through – whether it’s a killer strategy, a pitch-worthy media plan, or results that show the real value behind the numbers.
  • Planning, launching and optimising campaigns across channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn and others), constantly testing and learning to drive down CPAs and scale what works.
  • Joining the dots between performance data and audience insights – using numbers, behaviours, and market trends to sharpen strategies and boost results.
  • Managing paid media projects from end to end – from planning and build, through live optimisation, to post-campaign reporting – always keeping clients and internal teams in the loop.
  • Writing great work – from ad copy that converts, to punchy reports and sharp decks that make our work easy to understand and impossible to ignore.

What does it mean for you?

We pride ourselves in being bold, energetic, precise and irreverent. Equally, we are always open, honest, innovative and hard working in everything we do for our entrepreneurial clients, our team and our network.

You’ll be surrounded and supported by a team who will embolden and challenge you to approach each and every day with those values in mind. We’ve built (and are very proud of) our completely flat and integrated organisational structure – we don’t care where the good ideas come from, as long as they can be turned into something extraordinary and tangible.

And when those ideas get made, deliver real value for our clients and win awards, we love nothing more than to celebrate them.

What’s in it for you?

In return for your commitment, creativity and incredible mind, you can expect:

  • To work across a diverse range of fascinating clients, each with unique problems that we can solve.
  • To deliver value increases in our clients businesses that you can be proud of by helping entrepreneurs, their teams and families to realise their dreams and goals.
  • To work alongside and be trained by industry experts at the forefront of brand, marketing and technology.
  • Our senior management is accessible, open, honest and transparent. This means we all care about you and your development, progression, success and happiness.
  • We are open, honest and transparent, sharing financial, team, and client performance with the whole agency.
  • Flexi time: flexible working hours and hybrid working structure, sharing your time between working from home and our offices in eclectic Soho and Brighton’s Laines.
  • Be part of an amazing, sociable and supportive team with far too frequent socials.
  • An (over)active social life: regular lunches, dinners, ad-hoc team events and now and then, holidays.
